- New Steps Certificate — competence-based, signed off when the young person has shown the skill on a real task
What they leave with
- Their own weekly system, set up in the room — one place for their week on their phone, plus a paper backup, with one real reminder set together
- A card for breaking a big task into steps
- A next-three-things habit
- A named person who helps them remember
How it connects
Modules are built to stack. Where one has already taught a skill, the next one recalls it rather than teaching it again.
Bridges to
Is this a fit for someone you work with?
A caseworker reaches out, we book a tour, and we work out together whether New Steps is the right place. When a room is open, a referral can come together in about a week. When we are full, we will say so. New Steps is not an emergency placement service — we do not take same-day or overnight placements.
