What they leave with

  • Their own keep-it toolkit — a line for asking for an accommodation, a routing table for which free door handles which bill, a question list for before a doctor's appointment, and a contact card of free-help doors
  • One real ask, made or booked in the session

How it runs

The connective tissue of the catalogue — the speaking-up skill that every other module leans on.

How it connects

Modules are built to stack. Where one has already taught a skill, the next one recalls it rather than teaching it again.

Is this a fit for someone you work with?

A caseworker reaches out, we book a tour, and we work out together whether New Steps is the right place. When a room is open, a referral can come together in about a week. When we are full, we will say so. New Steps is not an emergency placement service — we do not take same-day or overnight placements.
