How it runs
The classroom tool is the resident's own phone — no laptop, ever. Everything works on a cracked screen and low data, and a loaner phone is there for anyone without one that day.
How it connects
Modules are built to stack. Where one has already taught a skill, the next one recalls it rather than teaching it again.

A caseworker reaches out, we book a tour, and we work out together whether New Steps is the right place. When a room is open, a referral can come together in about a week. When we are full, we will say so. New Steps is not an emergency placement service — we do not take same-day or overnight placements.
