Skills for Life

Sexual Health

A trusted guest teaches. You take what's useful — your way, in private. Nobody puts you on the spot, and you leave knowing where to get free, confidential help.

New Steps Certificate — competence-based, signed off when the young person has shown the skill on a real task

One New Steps gathering wraps each booked partner session. The number of sessions and their length are set with the partner at booking.

What they leave with

  • Their own private pages — nobody reads them
  • A card for free, confidential help that they can name and use

How it runs

A partner teaches. New Steps brokers, hosts and wraps — the welcome and food, the safety agreements, the check-in, a private check-out, and the close.

How we hold the room

Nobody is put on the spot and nobody is asked to share anything personal. The resident's pages stay private.

How it connects

Modules are built to stack. Where one has already taught a skill, the next one recalls it rather than teaching it again.

Is this a fit for someone you work with?

A caseworker reaches out, we book a tour, and we work out together whether New Steps is the right place. When a room is open, a referral can come together in about a week. When we are full, we will say so. New Steps is not an emergency placement service — we do not take same-day or overnight placements.
