- New Steps Certificate — competence-based, signed off when the young person has shown the skill on a real task
What they leave with
- Their own one-page plan: the path they picked, and why
- A subject-strengths self-check, or a mature-diploma credit map
- One real next step started in the room — a booked intake, a requested transcript, a filled referral
- A school-costs line added to their one-week money plan
- A support map of who helps them
What this module is not
New Steps cannot grant school credits. Credit-bearing work is done by certified teachers inside a registered Adult Learning Centre. This module is preparation, navigation and a warm hand-off — never accreditation.
How it connects
Modules are built to stack. Where one has already taught a skill, the next one recalls it rather than teaching it again.

Is this a fit for someone you work with?
A caseworker reaches out, we book a tour, and we work out together whether New Steps is the right place. When a room is open, a referral can come together in about a week. When we are full, we will say so. New Steps is not an emergency placement service — we do not take same-day or overnight placements.
