You're parenting young — and you're not doing it alone. Come as you are, bring the baby, and we'll walk it with you.

What they leave with

  • Their own companion reflections
  • A support map of who is in their circle
  • A set of keep-forever cards
  • A real referral into a parenting program, started

What this module is not

New Steps brokers, hosts and wraps. New Steps does not teach parenting, and no parenting is assessed.

How we hold the room

Small groups, warm enough for babies to be in the room.

How it connects

Modules are built to stack. Where one has already taught a skill, the next one recalls it rather than teaching it again.

Is this a fit for someone you work with?

A caseworker reaches out, we book a tour, and we work out together whether New Steps is the right place. When a room is open, a referral can come together in about a week. When we are full, we will say so. New Steps is not an emergency placement service — we do not take same-day or overnight placements.
